RaceWars UK was originally conceived as a Vauxhall-only event, born out of a group of friends seeking a secure and private location to put their prized vehicles to the test. The idea? Why not use a runway? What began as a small gathering has since evolved into one of the UK's premier standing mile events, open to all makes and models.

We remain deeply committed to our roots and believe that all automotive enthusiasts, regardless of the calibre or class of their vehicle, should have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the track. Whether it’s a modified Corsa B racing against a McLaren, we make it happen, showcasing the full spectrum of performance and passion at each event.

Our community is built on inclusivity, bringing together car enthusiasts from all backgrounds in a vibrant, supportive environment where participants can connect, share experiences, and form lasting friendships.

Safety is our top priority. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to minimise risks, implementing comprehensive safety protocols and providing detailed safety briefings for all drivers before each event. We ensure that everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience while pushing their vehicles to the limit.

RaceWars UK operates on a "family first" basis, giving priority access to previous participants for future events. While there are always spaces available for public booking, as this is an exclusive experience, spots fill quickly. To secure your place, we recommend booking with a deposit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

  • Excellent runway and great experience. Attended in May 24 and had a great time. Everyone was very welcoming and Rix and his staff were efficient and friendly. Rest assured that safety is paramount and all newbies will have to attend an online safety brief, which lasts approx 20-30 minutes. Finally, the runway is excellent and well maintained, presumably as it is on an army barracks.   • Truly A Professional Event. Attended the Vauxhall Race Wars a hand full of times now. The day is flawless, a couple hours drive away from myself but worth every minute. Upon arrival it’s clear you’re in good hands from the Marshalls and event organisers! After a quick but thorough look around your car and all boxes are ticked you’re ready to run. There aren’t many places in the uk where you can hold your car flat out for a full mile and then calmly loop back to the start line and run again… If you ever get the chance to grab a spot then I urge anyone to take the opportunity! You’ll never experience the adrenaline anywhere else.
